Call for Applications:
Indigenous Advisory Council

The National Autism Network is inviting applications for our Standing Indigenous Advisory Council.

We are looking for individuals who are First Nations, Inuit, Métis, or Urban Indigenous and who bring lived and living experience related to autism.

We welcome applicants from across the country, including those living:

  • On- and off-reserve
  • In urban, rural, northern, and remote communities

As a Council member, you will:

  • Share Indigenous knowledge, priorities, and lived experience to help guide the Network’s work
  • Help ensure policies and services reflect real-life experiences and Indigenous-led approaches
  • Strengthen connections between the Network and Indigenous communities across Canada
  • Stay informed about community issues and bring forward diverse perspectives

Note: The estimated time commitment for the Indigenous Standing Advisory Council is approximately 48 hours per year, which includes 6 meetings per year, for a total of 8 hours including preparation time, meeting time and follow up.
