Embracing Neurodiversity Conference
Canada has released a National Autism Strategy.
The next step is listening to Autistic people and communities across the country.
The Réseau national de l'autisme is coming to St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, to hear directly from community members about what Canada’s Autism Strategy should look like in practice in Newfoundland and Labrador for Autistic people of all ages.
On May 20, 2026, the Network will be presenting at the Embracing Neurodiversity Conference, hosted by the Autism Society of Newfoundland and Labrador (ASNL).
The following day, the Network and ASNL will host a free community engagement session. This session will bring people together to share their experiences and help shape the next steps for Canada’s Autism Strategy.
You do not need to attend the conference to join the engagement session. Everyone is welcome to take part.
