DESCRIPTION:Topic: Screening\, Diagnosis\, and Services\nWe are inviting you to join one of our upcoming virtual engagement sessions on March 5 and March 30 to help shape Canada’s Autism Strategy. \n\n\nWhat we will be talking about \nBoth sessions will focus on Strategic Priority Area 1\, which is about screening\, diagnosis\, and services in Canada’s Autism Strategy. \n\n\nWe will talk about: \n\n\n\n\nNeuro-affirming care (care that respects Autistic people and neurodivergent people) \n\n\n\n\n\n\nAccess to services and supports \n\n\n\n\nWhy your input matters \nThis is a chance to share what is working\, and what needs to change. Your contributions and perspectives will help inform how the federal government moves forward with Canada’s Autism Strategy. \nWe’re especially interested in hearing from: \n\n\n\n\nAutistic people \n\n\n\n\n\n\nFamilies and caregivers \n\n\n\n\n\n\nCommunity members across Canada \n\n\n\n\nTwo ways to join \nWe are offering two sessions covering the same topic. \n\n\nYou only need to attend one session. \n\n\n\n\nWednesday\, March 5 – 3:00 PM Pacific | 6:00 PM Eastern \n\n\n\n\n\n\nMonday\, March 30 – 11:00 AM Pacific | 2:00 PM Eastern \n\n\n\n\nHow to join \n\n\n\n\nEach session has its own Zoom registration link. \n\n\nPlease register only for the session you plan to attend.
